Rhinoplasty

The procedure “rhinoplasty” involves the change in the morphology of the nose to enhance the aesthetics and, in some cases, functionality (correction of nasal breathing problems). The target is to make slight changes in the nose by altering its original shape to enhance the beauty and maintaining the natural look that matches other facial features.

PRE-OPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS

  • A careful analysis of the nasal pyramid and its relationship with the rest of the facial features, including endo-nasal examination.
  • The goal is to achieve an “ideal” result that matches the rest of the face and personality of the patient.
  • The surgeon, after a thorough discussion about the techniques suggest results
  • The advice may sometimes go against the intervention.
  • The patient can see the expected result through special software creating the image after surgery
  • The actual outcome may vary from the picture created by the computer.
  • A regular pre-operative check is necessary for the “before surgery” discussion
